A record of our wonderful and not so wonderful times!

Lost on the 4th July

Buzz lost his first tooth! He has waited so long and seems to be last amongst his friends. I'm glad, I like the first tooth to come out at 7 it's a good sign.

Gone!

His tooth fairy came, he is called Willow and has the tiniest writing yet! I love the magic this brings the children.

And now for a very very quick round up in the hope of starting blogging properly again soon Happy

HESFES

Last week was spent at
HESFES. We drove up on Friday and set up camp. Returned home Saturday morning for drama rehearsals, watched the children dance and sing on Sunday and drove back to camp. Very amusing to all to see me arrive in white suit and high heels only to emerge from my tent in yoga trousers and HESFES hoodie. I'm so versatile LOL!

HESFES 2008

HESFES was everything we needed this year. It was hot and sunny, the kids old enough to ignore me, so the washing up, shower alone, swim alone and do the shopping alone. They are berry brown from living outdoors and were a pure delight from start to finish. I only got cross on the last day when trying to load the car Buzz refused to get out of it until I bought sweets. I lost it big time telling him to get out of the f****** car before I battered him. He laughed his little head off proving they don't believe my threats. Loretta took more heed to my words (I hang my head in shame).

Roll on next year.

CHICKEN POX

Buzz had a really bad dose of chicken pox, coming out with them whilst on holiday. He was really poorly and distressed but has no scars and the spots were mostly gone after 5 days, thanks I think to some
amazing oil Tony's massage lady gave him.

Chicken Pox- day 4

SPAIN

Was hot and lovely. I read three books and didn't do much else. I did go down all of the slides as did the children including the kamikaze. We spent some much needed family time together and also some lovely time with our dear friends who live out there.

Boo turned 10 whilst we were in Spain. Don't think that's sunk in yet!

PARTY

We had the most amazing party for Boo and Buzz's birthday's. It was on a medieval theme and I was deeply touched by the time and effort people had put into their costumes and gifts.

Happy Birthday

Today Tony is 34 Happy

He asked me for just two gifts. A DVD and a CD. I wrote them down shortly after he told me. Somehow and I have no idea how I wrote down the world's most bizarre request for a DVD and not what he asked for at all. Poor bloke was all excited to open Queen with Paul Rogers and he got James Last! I have no idea how I came up with that seeing as I'd never heard of James Last!

So I shall be ordering the correct one this morning and returning the old biddy one!

He also got the usual clothes, an Eric Clapton DVD and Wii Fit.

We have no plans for the day except to relax. We have been up and played on the fit and are now back in bed. I think a fry up may appear on the agenda but who knows what else. I don't feel like going anywhere. I like being at home and we are so busy that I like to grab the chance of staying when I can. When the children were little I used to feel like we had to be out and about all the time seeing as much as possible. We're all a little worn out of it now so quiet days at home are considered the treat! Of course if Tony asks to go somewhere we will have to go. Luckily the sun is shining.
