House

Saw it properly this morning. Inside and EVERYTHING- well not everything as the tosser is still in the flat. Actually we saw him and he was overly friendly. Wanker. I'd be all smiles if someone gave me 5 grand for being a sponge. He makes me break my swearing curfew.
Anyway! It's beautiful, thankfully not as big as I'd feared and will less work then we'd both put in our heads. It'll still take years and loads of money but we'll be able to make a fair number of rooms easily livable until the money is there for them. We tested the 9 pianos and earmarked the ones we'll be keeping. We also marked the furniture we'd like. It's all to be sold or dumped so the solicitors are keen for us to have what we can. Some beautiful pieces that are needed in the house. sadly most of the fireplaces have been blocked up so that'll be one of the first jobs we'll do so we can enjoy one of our dreams.
Walking around it today still didn't feel real. It was the first time we weren't rushed or having to be polite. We were there as the new owners with a very nice chap urging us to take this and that. He referred to it as our house all the time but it doesn't feel like it yet. Maybe when we next go there and everything has been removed. We I can stand alone in a room and shout for joy, the kids running up the stairs and sliding down the banisters, maybe then it will feel like mine. It does feel right though, like it's meant for us.

Lost on the 4th July
Buzz lost his first tooth! He has waited so long and seems to be last amongst his friends. I'm glad, I like the first tooth to come out at 7 it's a good sign.

His tooth fairy came, he is called Willow and has the tiniest writing yet! I love the magic this brings the children.
And now for a very very quick round up in the hope of starting blogging properly again soon
HESFES
Last week was spent at HESFES. We drove up on Friday and set up camp. Returned home Saturday morning for drama rehearsals, watched the children dance and sing on Sunday and drove back to camp. Very amusing to all to see me arrive in white suit and high heels only to emerge from my tent in yoga trousers and HESFES hoodie. I'm so versatile LOL!

HESFES was everything we needed this year. It was hot and sunny, the kids old enough to ignore me, so the washing up, shower alone, swim alone and do the shopping alone. They are berry brown from living outdoors and were a pure delight from start to finish. I only got cross on the last day when trying to load the car Buzz refused to get out of it until I bought sweets. I lost it big time telling him to get out of the f****** car before I battered him. He laughed his little head off proving they don't believe my threats. Loretta took more heed to my words (I hang my head in shame).
Roll on next year.
CHICKEN POX
Buzz had a really bad dose of chicken pox, coming out with them whilst on holiday. He was really poorly and distressed but has no scars and the spots were mostly gone after 5 days, thanks I think to some amazing oil Tony's massage lady gave him.

SPAIN
Was hot and lovely. I read three books and didn't do much else. I did go down all of the slides as did the children including the kamikaze. We spent some much needed family time together and also some lovely time with our dear friends who live out there.

10
Boo turned 10 whilst we were in Spain. Don't think that's sunk in yet!

PARTY
We had the most amazing party for Boo and Buzz's birthday's. It was on a medieval theme and I was deeply touched by the time and effort people had put into their costumes and gifts.

HOUSE MOVE
There is a growing light in view at the end of a very long tunnel!!!!

I Could Have Danced All Night
Well she'll dance the week away.
Today starts the Eastbourne Festival of Music and Dance. Boo adores this time of year. She loves to get up on stage and show the world (well about 100 people) what she can do. I'm torn between common sense and pride LOL! I also spend about 2 weeks feeling stressed for her and worrying her tutu isn't good enough.
Last year she came second in her group. This year she has had much less practise due to our holiday in America and then the funeral so I'm worried for her. Being placed for Boo is VERY important. She struggles with the 'it's all about taking part' bit. I;m just so proud of her for wanting to try never mind getting up there and doing it!
So this week she has danced, cried, screamed, stood still as I've pinned and stitched and talked herself through her steps. She won't practise if we can see. Her teacher thinks she has done an amazing job of getting herself ready. I think she could be mind blowing if she practised more! I never push her though, it has to come from her.
Tomorrow she has two dances. Ballet in the morning and modern in the afternoon. She will then repeat them through the week for other sections of the festival. The during the week one is the more important one.
My home is a tip, covered in bits of material and thread, the ironing board has been in my room for a week and meals have been sporadic. Would I stop her and have our life back. No.
Good luck Boo!
